ZAK!R (pronounced [zah-kr]), a maestro of the electronic-folk genre blends a palette-full of influences within his art. Pairing a smooth-falsetto with truthful and powerful lyricism, the singer, songwriter, and producer from San Francisco continues to draw inspiration from artists like Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Jon Bellion, and Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic).

A "one-man band", ZAK!R integrates a loop station for his live performances, allowing him to build and create instrumentation on the spot.

The emerge of an exclamation point became the emblem for a new beginning. ZAK!R wanted to re-invent his name in a way that emphasizes how his name is actually pronounced. Adding an ! is an accurate representation of who he is and who he wants to be as an artist.

With this, ZAK!R released singles "Irrelevant Noise" and "Ctrl" from his highly anticipated sophomore project, which is set for its release in Summer 2018. From his resonant vocals to his skillful guitar playing and empathetic storytelling, such artistry complements ZAK!R's soulful approach to the pop genre.
